ECTOPİX M, hekim tarafından başka türlü önerilmemişse, günde bir defa ince bir tabaka halinde hastalıklı deriye sürülür ve hafifçe ovalanır. Ciddi enflame seborreik ekzemada, yüzün etkilenen alanları 1 haftadan uzun süre tedavi edilmemelidir. Erişkinlerde kullanım süresi genel olarak 2 haftayı aşmamalıdır.
