PAROL, her tabletinde 500 mg parasetamol içeren, ağrı kesici ve ateş düşürücü olarak etki eden bir ilaçtır. PAROL 20 ve 30 tablet içeren blister ambalajlardadır. PAROL hafif ve orta şiddetli ağrılar ve ateşin semptomatik (hastalığı tedavi edici değil, belirtileri giderici) tedavisinde kullanılır.

Parasetamol, prostaglandin sentezini önler. Gastrointestinal sistemden hızla absorbe olur. Parol, analjezik ve antipiretik etkilerini 15-30 dakikada ve 3-4 saat süreyle gösterir.
